Audrey Aura (we, us or our), understands that protecting your personal information is important. This Privacy Policy sets out our commitment to protecting the privacy of personal information provided to us, or otherwise collected by us when providing our teaching services and materials (Services) or when otherwise interacting with you.

We host and provide our Services through the Teachable platform and you will be required to sign up for an account with Teachable to access our Services. Please see Teachable’s Privacy Policy here for more information on how Teachable collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information.

The information we collect

Personal information: is information or an opinion, whether true or not and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual who is identified or reasonably identifiable.

–   images of you where you upload a profile picture;

–   your contact details, including email address, street address and/or telephone number;

–   your preferences and/or opinions;

–   information you provide to us, including through feedback, customer surveys or otherwise;

–   details of services we have provided to you and/or that you have enquired about, and our response to you;

–   support requests submitted to us and our response to you;

–   additional personal information that you provide to us, directly or indirectly, through your use of our Services, associated applications, associated social media platforms and/or accounts from which you permit us to collect information; and

We collect personal information in a variety of ways, including:

–   Directly: We collect personal information which you directly provide to us, including when you communicate with us via the chat function on Teachable, or by email.

–   Indirectly: We may collect personal information which you indirectly provide to us while interacting with us, such as in emails, posts to forums on Teachable and in your online enquiries.

–   From third parties: We collect personal information from third parties, such as from Teachable, when you enrol or sign up to one of our courses.;

Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information

We may collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for the following purposes:

–   to provide our Services to you, including to provide you with our online course, and manage any one-on-one appointments with you;

–   to enable you to access and use our Services and associated social media platforms, such as Telegram;

–   to contact and communicate with you about our Services;

–   for internal record keeping, administrative, invoicing and billing purposes;

–   for analytics, market research and business development, including to operate and improve our Services, associated applications and associated social media platforms;

–   for advertising and marketing, including to send you promotional information about our products and services and other information that we consider may be of interest to you;

–   to comply with our legal obligations and resolve any disputes that we may have;

–   if otherwise required or authorised by law.

We may disclose personal information to:

–   third party service providers for the purpose of enabling them to provide their services, to us, including (without limitation) IT service providers, data storage, web-hosting and server providers and email marketing providers such as ConvertKit, maintenance or problem-solving providers, marketing or advertising providers, professional advisors;

–   anyone to whom our business or assets (or any part of them) are, or may (in good faith) be, transferred;

–   courts, tribunals and regulatory authorities, in the event you fail to pay for goods or services we have provided to you;

–   any other third parties as required or permitted by law, such as where we receive a subpoena.

Overseas disclosure

While we store personal information in Australia, where we disclose your personal information to the third parties listed above, these third parties may store, transfer or access personal information outside of Australia, including but not limited to, the United States of America.

Your rights and controlling your personal information

Your choice: Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you provide personal information to us, you understand we will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You do not have to provide personal information to us, however, if you do not, it may affect our ability to provide our Services to you and your use of our Services.

If you are a third party providing personal information about somebody else, you represent and warrant that you have such person’s consent to provide the personal information to us.

Restrict and unsubscribe: To object to processing for direct marketing/unsubscribe from our email database or opt-out of communications (including marketing communications), please contact us using the details below or opt-out using the opt-out facilities provided in the communication.

Complaints: If you wish to make a complaint, please contact us using the details below and provide us with full details of the complaint. We will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you, in writing, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take in response to your complaint.

We are committed to ensuring that the personal information we collect is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures, to safeguard and secure personal information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

While we are committed to security, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that is transmitted to or by us over the Internet. The transmission and exchange of information is carried out at your own risk.

Our Services may contain links to other party’s websites. We do not have any control over those websites and we are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any personal information which you provide whilst visiting those websites. Those websites are not governed by this Privacy Policy.

We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary this Privacy Policy by publishing the amended Privacy Policy on our website and the Teachable website. We recommend you regularly check our Privacy Policy to ensure you are aware of our current privacy practises.

Teachable's Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the School collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “Student”) of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School.


Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related activities.

How we use collected information

The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
  • Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To personalize user experience
  • We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School.
  • To send periodic emails
  • We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others.

Student may find advertising or other content in our School that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
